🎯 Who is Eligible? (Two Categories)

BOB is inviting applications from two distinct groups of candidates to leverage both fresh energy and seasoned experience.

1. For Young Candidates (Non-Retired)

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduate degree with good knowledge of computers (MS Office, email, Internet).

  • Preference is given to candidates with an M.Sc. (IT), B.E. (IT), MCA, or MBA qualification.

• Age Limit: Must be in the age group of 21 to 45 years at the time of appointment.

• Residency: Candidate must be a resident of the same District or an adjoining District where the vacancy is declared, and must be proficient in the local language/dialect.

2. For Retired Bank Employees

• Retired Officers: Retired officers (including those who took VRS) from any PSU Bank up to the rank of Chief Manager or equivalent.

• Retired Clerks: Retired clerks of Bank of Baroda who have passed JAIIB with a good service record.

• Experience: All retired applicants must have at least 3 years of rural banking experience.

• Age Limit: Maximum age for continuation is 65 years.

📝 Key Responsibilities of a BC Coordinator

As a BC Coordinator, your primary goal is to supervise, monitor, and support the network of Business Correspondent agents to ensure efficient delivery of banking services, particularly in unbanked areas.

• Supervision: Monitor the activities and performance of the allocated BC agents (typically 40-60 BCs).

• Field Visits: Conduct regular visits to villages/service areas and BC points (at least once a month/fortnight).

• Compliance: Ensure BCs adhere to banking guidelines, conduct only system-based transactions, and issue system-generated slips.

• Grievance Redressal: Handle and ensure quick resolution of customer and BC grievances.

• Business Development & Literacy: Conduct financial literacy camps, promote banking services, cross-sell bank products, and assist in the recovery of dues.

• Reporting: Submit performance reports and feedback to the Regional Office regularly.
